Speaker 2: I’m Director IT Business Technology. We’ve split our IT strategically into two areas: my area and the so-called “Factory”. The Factory is responsible for infrastructure and support, while my team looks after everything with a direct business link. Our business analysts are the central point of contact for marketing. Speaker 2: Absolutely. From my time in auditing I know the requirements of financial accounting and the process interfaces very well. That helps break down silos and link IT more closely with the business.
